We are pleased to invite you to participate in the seventh annual Outreach Scholarship Conference, October 7-9, 2007, Madison, Wisconsin. In addition to 3 keynote speakers, 4 state showcases, 20 poster sessions and more than 60 concurrent sessions, this year’s conference has many exciting new features.
- Hear from the five regional award winners of the C. Peter Magrath, W.K. Kellogg Foundation Engagement Award. One of these five outstanding programs will receive an inaugural award of $20,000 at the annual National Association of State Universities and Land-Grant Colleges (NASULGC) conference in November.
- We are joined by the Emerging Engagement Scholars Workshop, sponsored by the Higher Education Network for Community Engagement (HENCE). This workshop will bring advanced graduate students and junior faculty members in any discipline, who also have an interest in community engagement and outreach scholarship. - Join us Monday morning for World Café™ Conversations—a creative process for the entire conference to address the questions that really matter to move forward as individuals, institutions and as the field of Outreach Scholarship.
